Wolves Game

 The big 6 year old!
Blake & Luke have the same Blackhawks jersey
 My sweet boys
We actually spent the night of Chase's birthday at the Wolves game,
they put his name up on the Jumbo-Tron, so exciting!
That evening was also an Indian Guides event, the Jumbo-Tron also
welcomed Chase's tribe!

The night of Chase's birthday we had tickets to the Wolves Game because it was a night to welcome Indian Guides and their families.  We had a great time and the team got a win and a player also got  a hat-trick so that was super exciting!  It was a fun evening for a brand new 6 year old!

Chase & Luke's Bowling Birthday Fun!

The birthday boy and his cheesy cousin!

The other "cheeser" in the family

 All of the party animals

This year for the boys' party we decided to head out to the bowling alley, lots of fun and no clean up for us!  Each boy got to invite a handful of friends and the party was very easy, and a good time was had by all.  My only regret, not getting a "whole party" picture.

Colorado 2012

Our view from the condo

In February we went with the Browns & Geers for a mini get-a-way President's weekend in Denver. Kevin's parents own a condo in a great area close to many ski resorts.  We arrived late on Friday night and spent all day Saturday & part of Sunday skiing.  We ventured to both Keystone & Copper Mountain.  Kristy & I stuck together because we were the most "unexperienced" of the 6 of us.  At times it was very fun, other times were just scary.  Blake had a fun tumble down a Double Black Diamond run, Allison got it on video, check out the Youtube link if you're interested.  We had 2 great dinners out and time with just the adults was great.  On Monday we spent the day cleaning up the condo and then walking around some cute streets in Denver.  We're so grateful to have such good friends to spend time with on such a fun trip!

Daddy/Daughter Dance

Blake & Paige

Last month Blake had the privilege of taking Paige, our friends Sara & Keith's daughter, to a Daddy/Daughter Dance.  Keith is currently in Afghanistan and Blake was happy to be Paige's date.  They had a great time together eating yummy treats and after 3 dances together, Paige asked Blake if it would be okay if she danced by herself...so cute!  A good time was had by both Blake and Paige.  Thanks to Sara & Keith for letting Blake attend his one and only Daddy/Daughter Dance!

Blake's Birthday

Opening presents 1st thing in the morning
Blake wearing his new hat that Chase specially picked out for him
Being silly

Blake's birthday this year was supposed to be a fun night out with friends at a comedy club.  Instead, we actually got a snow storm and were forced to stay home.  We ended up having a great time with the kids, Happy Birthday Blake!

First lost tooth!

When we made this video, Chase was so excited because he had his first wiggly tooth.  He couldn't believe that he was about to get a visit from the tooth fairy.  It took several days for the tooth to finally come out and I didn't realize how much "drama" there would be about the foods that he ate because they would "hurt his wiggly tooth!"

When the tooth finally did come out, his adult tooth was already half way up!  It was hidden behind the baby tooth.  Since then, he's lost his second bottom tooth, so exciting!

Chase's Soccer Season

 Playing goalie
A "serious" soccer face...don't mess with this team!
All smiles!

Chase had a great indoor soccer season this winter.  It was very different than last year, they actually won quite a few games and you could see a lot of the kids grow as players and become a little more aggressive on the field.  Chase loved being able to play again with all of his buddies and a few new ones joined the team too.  Blake and Kevin had a good time coaching as well.  In just a few weeks we start spring soccer outside, I know that Chase can't wait!
