More Catching Up...

 Casey at his baseball game
Chase's school has the Clow Cougar Trail Trot 5K that Blake & I did together.  Chase participated in the kids 1 mile fun run, he sure did have fun!  His cousins came out to support him as well which was very fun for Chase.
 And, they're off!
 On his way out
 On his way back in
 Chase, Casey & Tyler S.
This was Luke's Mother's Day Tea at his preschool.  He stood in the corner (surrounded by girls) and refused to look at me, little stinker!
I'm wearing my gift from Luke, the beautiful necklace
This is Blake finishing a 10K that he ran
 LOVE this picture!
Me in my Run Like A Mother race on Mother's Day morning
Some of my favorite "mother runner" friends & the awesome kids
For Mother's Day this year we went to a park and had a picnic with both of our families.  It was a beautiful day and a good time was had by all.

Majorly Behind

So it has been forever since I've posted pictures so instead of doing separate posts, I'm rolling many events into just a few posts so I can feel "caught up!"

Visiting my dad in Michigan over Spring Break
At the Field Museum with Payton & Kristy over Spring Break, Sue was highly anticipated but once they saw her, it was no big deal!

 Dying Easter eggs
 Easter morning, on the hunt
Hunting in Dana's backyard...both Grandma's hide over 150 eggs and the 4 kids have to find them all.  Amazingly enough, it was fairly even in the end.
After hunting, we took the brand new kites the kids got from Blake's cousin Keith to test them out

Basketball Fever

The Rosenberg household has developed the urge to shoot hoops all of the time lately!  Chase especially is in basketball mode, having to dress the part each time he plays.  It is a lot of fun!

Bye-Bye Ugly Tree

Already in the process of being cut down ( I was a little late on the idea of a before and after shot!)
It's gone!
So we've had this tree outside of our house since we've moved in that we really didn't like.  Blake would always say, "I'm going to cut that tree down one day."  Well, after many nights of Luke being scared because the tree would scratch up against his bedroom window, the child has reason to sleep through the night again!  The actual cutting down of the tree was a lot easier than I anticipated and with the help of our friendly neighbors, it was done pretty quickly.  Now we're just waiting for spring brush pick up so we don't have have to pay a ton of money to get all of the branches hauled away!

Indoor Winter Soccer Season

 Playing goalie
 Pick me, pick me!
Don't mess with this team, they are tough!
Looking like  sweet group of kindergartners
And here is what they're really like!

This winter soccer season was a HUGE difference from our no win season last year.  One year and a few additions to the team made this such a fun season to watch, although we did have a lot more blood shed this year!  Chase has become a lot more aggressive and even scored several goals which was quite exciting.  He does seem to care a little more this year if they win the game but, I love that it is still all about being with his buddies and having fun.  Our spring soccer season should be a blast!

Wolves Game

 The big 6 year old!
Blake & Luke have the same Blackhawks jersey
 My sweet boys
We actually spent the night of Chase's birthday at the Wolves game,
they put his name up on the Jumbo-Tron, so exciting!
That evening was also an Indian Guides event, the Jumbo-Tron also
welcomed Chase's tribe!

The night of Chase's birthday we had tickets to the Wolves Game because it was a night to welcome Indian Guides and their families.  We had a great time and the team got a win and a player also got  a hat-trick so that was super exciting!  It was a fun evening for a brand new 6 year old!
