Hanging Out at the House
Baby Savannah
My cousin Heather and her husband Nick welcomed Savannah Marie into the world on February 3rd. I had an opportunity to meet her when she went home from the hospital. Sometimes you forget just how little babies are because they grow so fast! She has a ton of hair and was very alert and snuggly when I was there. I'm excited to see her grow up and eventually play with the boys!

Good News
I just got off the phone with my dad tonight and found out that he passed his driver's test today! We were feeling really anxious about it because reading is sometimes still challenging for him, in his words, the words "float" like they're on a rollercoaster and his eyes have to catch up with them. I'm so thrilled for him because this is the step to "independence" from my grandparents. He will finally have his life back and not need to rely on others to take him places. This is a huge step from where he was 6 months ago, definitely something to celebrate!

Mischievous Boys!
So, lately the boys, especially Luke, have been very silly, sneaky, and sometimes just naughty! I've captured a few of their antics on camera but unfortunately not all of them. Let's say our house only has down time when the boys are sleeping!
Trying on all of my shoes
Luke got into my make-up bag and decided to use a little eye liner on himself. I think it is a good look for him!
The boys took out the glass piece that belongs in the center of the table and tucked themselves inside the table!

I had to post this picture. I was upstairs organizing the boys closet when things were a little too quiet. I found Luke locked in the downstairs bathroom. When I got the door opened, I saw that he had unrolled the entire roll of toliet paper, put it into the toliet and then taken the toliet paper out and wiped it all over the walls. When I asked him what he was doing he said, "I cleaning!" with a huge smile on his face!
Luke is constantly into kitchen drawers and the sink, standing on top of the kitchen table, and throwing his food across the kitchen. He is telling us "no" a lot and whatever he asks for, he is adding a "right now" onto it instead of "please". He has had his share of time outs for hitting and has bitten a few times. I know that this is just a phase but I'm ready to move onto the next one!!
